Earth Space Science

Earth Space Science is a laboratory course that focuses on the study of space, geologic structures and forces, the waters on our planet, and atmospheric forces that shape our world as it is sustained by God. Students explore the universe to discover the magnificent design of our marvelous Creator and the wonders and beauty of the earth. Through experimentation and investigation, students explore the earth systems including the geosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, atmosphere, and the carbon cycle. Students engage in interactive experiences, higher-order thinking, collaborative projects, and real-world applications, along with a variety of assessments, as they discover how to rejoice in the wonders of God and bring glory to Him. Upon completion of the course, students have a clear understanding of the dynamic forces at work in the world around them, enabling them to become better caretakers of our planet.

This course is approved by the NCAA® and the University of California.

In addition to a computer with an Internet connection, most courses require speakers (or headphones); a digital camera or scanner to take photos of completed work; a printer; common household items; access to research materials; and productivity software for word processing, presentations, etc.
