Science Grade K
The Elementary Science Grade K course sparks curiosity in students and builds a solid foundation in concepts across many types of sciences including the earth, life, and physical sciences, so that students can better understand the world God created. Students learn about the five senses, are introduced to properties of sound and motion, and explore various animals and plants. A framework of active student learning creates opportunities for students to engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate throughout the course. Students also come to understand how God gives them different skills, so that they can better serve Him and others. Students learn that God is faithful to care for His creation, develop a better understanding of the world God created, and learn how to best take care of God’s creation.
