Mathematics Grade 3

The Elementary Mathematics Grade 3 course inspires students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers, through the use of engaging, multimedia-rich lessons. Students learn foundational math skills, such as multiplication and division up to 100, fractions, decimals, shapes, area, and volume. In addition to basic math, algebraic, and critical thinking skills, students learn to identify patterns in God’s creation, identify biblical patterns for living, explore the use of numbers in the Bible, and recognize how God can help us with problem-solving. Students explore content prior to being explicitly taught, and hands-on activities help strengthen learners’ algebraic and critical thinking skills. Digital and concrete manipulatives help support mathematical proficiency.
