Elementary
Mathematics Grade 1
In Elementary Mathematics Grade 1, learners practice strategies for addition and subtraction up to 20 and develop an understanding of whole number relationships and place value, including grouping in tens and ones. Along with these important concepts, instruction includes linear measurement, units of length, and geometric shapes. Along with the math concepts, students explore various lessons Jesus taught through parables, understand how Jesus provides for His people, and recognize how God wants Christians to set an example for the world by loving others. Students also learn what God says about using time wisely and how to recognize the order in God’s creation. Every module in the course offers a multitude of practice opportunities, both digital and hands-on.
