Mathematics Grade K

Elementary Mathematics Grade K helps young learners make sense of God’s well-ordered creation by using math as a tool to explore ideas, think critically, and solve problems. Through engaging, media-rich lessons, students learn rhymes, chants, and songs to learn foundational math skills. As they begin building a strong number sense through counting, students learn about God’s stance on sin—and come to know that while God counts a lot of things, He doesn’t count the sins of those who believe in Him! Students develop skills in addition and subtraction within 20, place value, measurement, and shapes. They also learn about faith, Scripture, and God’s grace. As students learn mathematical and biblical concepts throughout the lessons, they are offered opportunities for digital and hands-on practice activities that strengthen their analytic, critical, and biblical thinking skills.
