Global Studies

With more than eight billion people in the world today, there is more need than ever to research and tell the stories of the global community from God’s perspective. In Global Studies, students take on the role of a news reporter for God’s News Network, researching and writing stories about human rights, the environment, global security, and international economic systems. The stories also have real human interest because they deal with peoples’ customs, cultures, and how they interact with each other and the truths of God’s Word. Students are expected to research the facts and present them with clarity and context. They also identify real global problems, think critically about them, and suggest well-developed solutions.
